Zab Judah has won five world titles between the light welterweight and welterweight divisions. Produced Zabdiel Judah on October 27, 1977 in Brooklyn, NY, he started boxing in age six. He compiled an amateur record of 110-5. He was a two-time US national champion and three-time New York Golden Gloves Champion. He also won the 1996 Buddy National Tournament. He attempted to earn a spot on the 1996 US Olympic boxing team but was kept from qualifying because of his loss against David Diaz despite defeating Ishe Smith and Hector Camacho Jr.

On September 20, 1996, Judah made his professional debut in age 18 in Miami, Florida. Judah got the better of Michael Johnson by technical knockout in the 2nd round. Judah won the IBF Junior Welterweight title on February 12, 2000 when he conquered Jan Piet Bergman by knockout in the fourth round. On July 12, 2003, he got the better of DeMarcus Corley by split decision to win the WBO Junior Welterweight title. Judah defended his WBO title once before he moved up to the welterweight division. Judah conquered Kaizer Mabuza on March 5, 2011 by a seventh round TKO to regain the IBF Light Welterweight title. Zab Judah was conquered by Cory Spinks on April 10, 2004 by unanimous decision. After ten months, Zab defeated Spinks in the ninth round by TKO. He also conquered Cosme Rivera by third round TKO. On January 7, 2006, Zab lost to Carlos Baldomir by unanimous decision. He lost to Floyd Mayweather Jr. by unanimous decision on April 8, 2006. He also lost to Joshua Clottey by technical decision on August 2, 2008 in a fight for the vacant IBF Welterweight title. On November 6, 2009, Zab took on Ubaldo Hernandez and won the fight by TKO in the 2nd round. He won a split decision against Lucas Matthysse on November 6, 2010.
