Robinson started her professional acting career in television in 1993 using a guest-starring role within an episode of the comedy Martin. In that same year, she had guest-starring roles in episodes of Thea and The Sinbad Show. In 1995, she co-starred with Rondell Sheridan in the short-lived sitcom Minor Adjustments on NBC.
