He is the Creator and Chairman of Indorama Corporation, a diversified petrochemical and textile company, and Chairman of Indorama Ventures PCL, the largest maker of polyester or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin on the planet. Also known as SP Lohia, he moved to Indonesia along with his dad and started Indorama Synthetics which began to fabricate spun yarns in 1976.
