He was hailed as the Most Valuable Player throughout the Adidas Superstar Camp Underclass All-Star game. Additionally, he was a Parade All-American third team, and McDonald’s All-American team in 2006. The Most joined Stanford Cardinal college basketball team in 2006. During his two-season stint together with the Cardinal, he received All-Pac 10 Defensive Team honors. In 2008 NBA Draft, he was selected as the very first round, 15th overall pick by the Phoenix Suns. Lopez put 5.4 points, with an average of 14 minutes per match during the shortened 2011-2012 NBA season.
