Robin Gibb Net Worth $148 Million
British vocalist and songwriter, Robin Gibb had a net worth of $148 million 2012. Robin Gibb was one of The Brothers Gibb — The Bee Gees — one of the most successful musical acts of the 20th century. Their soundtrack from the film Saturday Night Fever defined the disco sound of the 1970s with hits such as “Stayin’ Alive” and “How Deep Is Your Love.” Originally from the Isle of Man, the Gibb family emigrated to Australia in 1958 and also the three sons started their recording career in 1963, when they were in their teens. They wrote songs, sang backup and recorded their particular singles, returning to England in 1967 to further their career. For the following four decades Robin performed by himself and with The Bee Gees, having far more success as a brother than as a solo artist. On 22 April, 2012, it was reported that he’d advanced colorectal cancer. He died in London on 20 May 2012 in the age of 62. His twin brother Maurice died in 2003.
