Ohio-based businessman Robert Croak has an estimated net worth of $15 million. He could be the head of BCP Imports which disperses Silly Bandz, the rubber bands made from silicone rubber that are formed into shapes of animals, items, numbers, and letters. Mr. Croak was seeing Japan when he found a Japanese product which is a more environmentally friendly form of the rubber band. He brought the product to US which was repackaged as toys. The silicone rubber bands can be bought under the brand name Animal Rubber Bands. The very first sets were sold online in November 2008. The very first retail store to stock Silly Bandz was Learning Express in Birmingham, Alabama in 2009. It’s won the top Design award through the Japanese National Opposition in 2003.
