During his early teens, he performed a partnership with Geoff Scott, another budding impressionist, who afterwards became a politician. In the age of 17, they were performing professionally in night clubs. Little began appearing in theater productions through the late 50s and earned his first acting award in the Eastern Ontario Drama Festival.
