He has brought in all this money from his memorable performances as a member of Journey and bad English. Neal is the only long-term member of Journey. He’s participated in every records and tours till now. Neal was born on 27th February, 1954 at Tinker AFB (Air Force Base), Oklahoma. Neal was born into a musical family — his father Mathew Schon was himself an accomplished musician and mum Barbara Schon was a group vocalist. At a young age of 5, Neal picked up his first guitar.

Being a quick learner, he joined Santana at the age of 15. Schon went to the Aragon high school. Schon was splendidly offered by Eric Claptonto join Derek and The Dominos but he went to join Santana for their album Santana III. Schon also played for Azteca, briefly. Schon in 1973 formed Journey. He released five solo albums and fourteen studio albums with all the group. Schon also collaborated with keyboardist Jan Hammer; Sammy Hagarand Paul Rodgerson short term jobs.

Schon began with an acoustic Stella guitar followed by Gibson ES-335. Shortly he’s endorsing Gibson guitars. Later in 2008, he began using Xotic guitars. Schon had been married four times — first in 1976 with Tena Austin, second with Beth Buckley in 1987, for the third time in 1993 with Dina Gioeli and the fourth with Amber Kozan in 2001, which ended in 2008. In October 2012 he got engaged to Michaele Salahi.
