Foster, who’s half Swedish, was born and brought up in England. He graduated from the Cardiff University where he studied Business Administration. He finished his postgraduate studies in Broadcast Journalism in Portsmouth at the Highbury College. He’s married and resides with his wife and three kids in Berkshire. Foster started his reporting career, when he was 16 years old at the Hospital radio Swindon. He did his own weekly program there. While studying in school, he worked as reporter for the local BBC office. He was later offered employment at BBC Radio Five. He shortly after got a job at BBC Wiltshire Sound, where he worked for two years. Then he went to BBC World Service when he was 24 years old. He later switched to BBC TV focusing on company plans and anchored the Company Breakfast BBC World and the Working Lunch show. He afterwards joined CNN after helping over a decade in BBC. Foster has reported on the Asian Financial Crisis, the launch of Euro, and the online banking exclusive storyline which had led to some leading bank closing down its site. He was also the first to interview Prince William after the arrival of his son George on the conservation of endangered species. The interview will be to be aired in September on CNN worldwide.
