Matthias Sammer is a retired German football player and trainer with the estimated net worth of $10.8 million. Matthias Sammer began his career in 1976 when he joined SG Dynamo Dresden, in the age of 9. Matthias became an associate of its own senior team under his father’smanagement. During his stint with the team, Dresden won the East German championship during the 1988-89 season and DDR-Oberliga title in 1990. Matthias moved to VfB Stuttgart in 1990, and remained with the team for two seasons. Sammer joined Italian club Internazionale during the 1992-1993 season. After his short stint together with the team, he transferred to Borussia Dortmund. While with Dortmund, he directed the team in winning the Champion League, two Bundesliga titles, and two DFB-Supercups. Upon retirement, Sammer became the head coach of Borussia Dortmund, VfB Stuttgart, and Bayern Munich. Finally, he was appointed as technical director for German Football Association in 2006.
