Matt Treanor started his profession through the time he attended Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. He was named as second-team All America and played through the Upper Deck high school baseball tournament. He made his major league debut in 2004. Subsequently, he went to Marlins’ Triple A affiliates, Calgary Cannons, and Albuquerque Isotopes. Later, he called up the majors twice in 2004. With four years stint with the Marlins, Treanor moved to Detroit Tigers in 2008. But his stay with all the team stopped when he suffered from a bone spur on the best hip. He was put under disabled list for the rest of the season. Subsequently, he also played for a number of teams including Texas Rangers, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Cleveland Indians. Treanor returned to the Royals and Rangers in 2011 respectively. After years of playing baseball, he retired on May 8, 2014.
