Lovie Smith is an American professional football coach with an estimated net worth of $17 million. In school, he played for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Lovie was a two time All American along with the team’s linebacker and safety. Lovie pursued his training career after graduation in faculty. Smith was hired as a defensive coordinator at his hometown high school in 1980. A year later, he moved to Cascia Hall Preparatory School and worked as trainer for the football team. From 1983, he began training linebackers for a number of universities for example University of Tulsa, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Arizona State University, and University of Kentucky. He started his professional coaching career as a linebacker coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and remained for five years together with the team. Then, he was hired by the St. Louis Rams as a defensive coordinator. In 2004, he became Chicago Bears’ head coach. Smith returned to the Buccaneers as the team’s 10th head coach in 2014.
