Keith Tkachuk started playing hockey at Malden Catholic High School. In college, he played for the Boston University Terriers men’s ice hockey team. Keith was selected as the first round, 19th overall pick by the Winnipeg Jets during the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. Tkachuk made his debut few days after the 1992 Winter Olympics finished. During the 1995-1996 season, he finished with 50 goals, 48 assists, and 249 shots. When Jets relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, Keith joined the Phoenix Coyotes. Tkachuk made his career-best 52 goals during the 1996-1997 season. Tkachuk also played for other teams like St. Louis Blues and Atlanta Thrashers. On June 26, 2007, Keith was reacquired by the Blues after he was traded to the Atlanta Thrashers. Tkachuk declared his retirement from playing ice hockey on April 7, 2010.
