Jason Wittenstarted his livelihood at Elizabethton High School. He played for the Tennessee Volunteers as defensive end, but moved to tight end position. Witten recorded 68 career interceptions, with 797 receiving yards during his stint with all the team. Jason got an Academic All-SEC honors and appeared in the All-Southeastern Conference. Witten was selected by the Dallas Cowboys as the third round, 69th overall pick during the 2003 NFL Draft. Jason received recognitions such as 2009 NFL Iron Man Award, Walter Payton Man of the Year award in 2012, and three-time NFL Alumni Tight End of the Year.
