James “Jimmy” Lee Jr. began his career in 1975 when he worked for Chemical Bank. He involved in financing companies, and managed Chemical’s merchant bank in Australia. Subsequently, he returned to America, and started managing the bank’s syndicated leverage finance group. While working together with the Chemical Bank, Lee created the high output company in 1994, when the bank was united with Manufacturers Hanover. And he overlooked the bank’s financial sponsor coverage at which company centered on the private equity firms, as well as the bank’s acquisitions. He ran the said bank until it had been united with J.P. Morgan and Co. in 2001. He completed his degree in Economics and Art History at Williams College in 1975.
