When Stuffy left the business, he went to open up Supreme in 1994 in a modest storefront of Lafayette Street in downtown New York. Supreme does not only sell clothing and accessories just like any fashion company. Additionally they make skateboards that are collected like artwork. It has collaborated with artists such as Larry Clark, Jeff Koons, Richard Prince, Christopher Wool, Nate Lowman, and lately, Damien Hirst to design their skateboards. Additionally, it has joined forces with brands like Nike, Vans, Clarks, The North Face, Levi’s, Timberland, Comme des Garcons and WTAPS also just like designer Adam Kimmel. In 2004, Supreme started its store in Los Angeles, California. The place is nearly twice larger in relation to the original store in New York.
