Deborah Feyerick grew up in Paris and afterwards moved to the Usa and attended the Columbia University. Feyerick began her career in journalism when she joined as research worker in GQ magazine, shortly after her graduation. In Norway, she began working for a video production firm sponsored by Millicom, a media giant in Sweden. She subsequently worked as anchorman and reporter for NY1 News. She also worked for a little while as special correspondent at Life Magazine, where she covered the riots in La and the 50th anniversary of Pearl Harbor bombing. She subsequently joined CNN in 2000 and at present is the national correspondent based in Nyc specializing in crime, terrorism, and other breaking news. Feyericks broadcasting profession was acknowledged and honored by several organizations such as the New York Association of Black Journalists and the American Muslim Union, who designated her as an ‘Excellent Journalist. She was part of CNNs fact-finding team on 9/11 to be honored with the National Headliner award. She also received Emmy nominations for her work with the September 11 attacks and the Christmas day Bomber. The other awards she received contain the Gracie award for her report on the kids created to sperm donors and Peabody Awards for the 2008 presidential campaign and the report on Hurricane Katrina. She’s also received Emmy nominations for her work on AIDS. She’s a board member of the organization ‘Video Volunteers based in India and the non-profit organization ‘Living Beyond Belief. Previously in 2013, Feyerick was involved with a controversy when she linked the falling of asteroids to global warming.
