Colin Edwards is a retired American professional motorcycle racer with an estimated net worth of $1.1 million. Colin Edwards joined his first motocross race at age 4. Colin started competing at amateur road racing events and won numerous amateur titles in 1991. The next year, he turned professional. Colin entered the American Motorcyclist Association 250cc National Series. Colin won five of nine races and was able to clinch the national title. Colin offered a factory position for Yamaha in the Superbike World Championship in 1995. Edwards stayed with the team for a couple of years, despite of the battles and harms he incrured during his tenure with the team. Colin moved to Castrol Honda in 1998.
