Charlie Kaufman is an American screenwriter, producer, director and lyricist. Charlie Kaufman started between 1983-1984 when he composed comedic posts for National Lampoon, which contained parodies of Kurt Vonnegut and the X Men. His television career appeared when he wrote two episodes for Chris Elliott’s Get A Life. In 2008, he debuted as a director for Synecdoche, New York, which was received absolutely. He has been nominated for three Academy Awards: twice for Best Authentic Screen play for Being John Malkovic hand Eternal Sunlight of the Spotless Mind, winning the award for the latter, and Best Adapted Screenplay for Adaptation.
