Brian Leetch’s love for hockey began when he was a child. In high school, he joined the Cheshire High School hockey team. He played for two seasons for Avon Old Farms School hockey team, afterward he was chosen as the first round, 9th overall pick from the New York Rangers during the 1986 NHL Draft. He joined the Boston College Eagles men’s hockey team and played for one season. Leetch participated at the 1988 Games in Calgary and debuted eight days later with Rangers. Brian served as Captain from 1997 to 2000. Leetch was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2004. After the 2004-2005 NHL lockout, the kid signed up with the Boston Bruins. Three years later, he announced his retirement after 18-year career. Brian Joseph Leetch was born on March 3, 1968 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
