Alghanim led the company in the early 70’s to the 90’s. He has installed a Western-style management structure with decentralized decision making process. Nevertheless , the Alghanim brothers have been fighting in court within the office of the assets in the firm. He recently sued Kutayba and his son Omar for hacking into his e-mails and reading about his private relationships. A U.K. judge found out, in October 2011, that two people were responsible for the hacking of Bassam’ email. It looked like that they were ordered by Kutayba and Omar. Today, Bassam is not connected with the family holding company.
