Produced on May 19, 1979 in Flero, Lombardy, Italy, he made his debut for Brescia against Reggina at age 16. After making in the Brescia first team, he was spotted by the Internazionale coach Mircea Lucescu and signed him to the club. However, he was not competent to break into the first squad.
